No school today- let's head to the zoo with a group of friends!!! It was a gorgeous day too, the weather was perfect. I'm so excited to go back many times with the family this year. Kaitlyn said her favorite part was flamingos!! Mikey said his favorite part was riding the zoo train (surprised?!). We got to spend some time with great friends too which was nice. Love visiting the animals at the zoo-- we'll be back!
The kids got to feed the giraffes!! Check out that tongue...
Riding the zoo train-- whoo! whoo!

Irish Live Here!
We love St. Patrick's Day at this house! (right, Michael Patrick??!). This year, we had a playdate at our house on the day after St. Patrick's day. We made a tissue paper and cotton ball rainbow, painted 4-leaf clovers with bell peppers and played with homemade playdough (Kaitlyn and Mikey LOVED making it the day before!) that was bright green, smelled like lime and was full of green glitter!! We served a rainbow fruit tray, rainbow jello, chocolate dipped pretzel sticks (the kids liked helping make these too!) and leprechaun punch! Pretty fun filled I would say!

Pre-Pre- T- Ball Yeah, I said it!
Mikey wants in on the action too!! I found this T-ball league for him and it is AWESOME! We are so lucky to be on this particular team too. We have the best coach! But can I say, this is going to be the funniest thing to watch.... ever! These kids are so tiny! And Mikey is the youngest and the smallest (and the cutest, of course). He L.O.V.E.S. it. He takes it so seriously and all he wants to do it throw the ball- over and over and over and over (it drives the coaches NUTS). We may have a real player on our hands!
Soccer Girl
Spring is here! So that means it's time to start new things and that is soccer for our girl. After a bit of a rough start, she did really good and I think really likes it! The up side is that we do it on Friday nights so daddy can make it to see some of it too!!
New Times
So I know I haven't been around for a bit, but one of the reasons why is because I've decided to 'ease' back into work and take a position as a substitute interpreter for the deaf and hearing impaired in our local school districts. I'm super excited about this opportunity as it's been something I've been thinking about doing for a while now and at the same time, really torn about leaving my babies. Since this is a substitute position, I have had to find care for the kids at kind of the last minute and that can be hard. The wonderful thing has been the help I've received from our friends and the 'family' we've created here. Here are some of the photos I was sent from my dear, dear friend who watched the babies a couple of the days I was at work. Needless to say, they didn't miss me at all and Kaitlyn has actually asked me to please go back to work (yeah, thanks a lot!).
