I'm so proud of these 2 swimmers but especially Kaitlyn this session. She has really done so well and has passed on to level 4 (out of 6)!! Go Katie!!!! Now we just have to teach your brother how to put his face in the water....

Easter, 2014
So for us, Easter is all about the story of Christ's Resurrection, a visit from the Bunny (of course!), spending time with family and friends, many egg hunts, and best of all: letting mom dress you up like a colorful monkey! This year was no exception! We had fun easter egg hunts and parties at school and at the neighborhood (that even included visits from the Easter Bunny). After Easter dinner Nana Pat and Papa Joe came to our house for desert and helped Mikey and Kaitlyn find Easter eggs all over the house (that bunny is sneaky!). He had already left baskets for the kids while we were at church in the morning and had left Mikey a big boy bike! Katie got a new microphone (thank you Easter Bunny) and they both got bright new rain boots along with all of the candy in their baskets!

Girl Power!!!
We just finished a super fun visit with Aunt Kelli, Uncle Dennis and Cousins Kelsie and new Cousin Mikayla! They flew down to visit us for a whole week. Kaitlyn was in hog heaven with 2 girl cousins and one of them being a brand new baby! She was totally in love- I'm pretty sure she held that baby more that I did. Mikey loved making Kelsie laugh (he's such a clown!). Kelsie just turned 2 so we made sure to celebrate that when they arrive. We had some balloons waiting for her and that night we sang and had birthday cake. We did so much during the week long visit: Kelsie, Kaitlyn and Mikey took bubble baths in the jacuzzi tub every night, we played outside a ton (even took out the jump house which was a big hit!), we took a trip to the zoo, and we visited the Children's museum! But most of all we shared hugs and kisses. Looking forward to the next visit!!!!
