Mikey's Fieldtrip

Mikey's class took a field trip to visit Ms. Claus!! We played Christmas Bingo (with m&m markers- Mikey's favorite!!), made a special rudolph bag to hold our goodies (Mikey loved coloring on it and gluing the eyes and nose), made a candy cane ornament (he did SO good beading it ALL by himself and made sure that the beads were in the right order too!!), made a fruit loop necklace (yum!), made another special ornament that was made out of a local cedar tree and then burned right in front of us with the Greenway logo (Mikey thought that was SO cool!), had a special snack of milk and cookies with our friends and listened to songs and stories by Ms. Claus herself!! We finished it off by going on a candy cane hunt!!! It was a great time with his friends.

Fort Mill Christmas Parade!

So, we did it again- but this year the whole family was involved (yay!!). The MOMS Club of Fort Mill was involved in the Christmas Parade and daddy's truck and trailer were our float! The kids helped decorate the day before the parade and then on Saturday morning we all bundled up and had a blast! Katie decided she was going to be shy so she had her head tucked in Mommy's shoulder the whole time but the star of the show was Mikey (surprised??!). He stood up and yelled 'MERRY CHRISTMAS' and waved to everyone! He even sang Jingle Bells at the top of his lungs. Success!

I just can't with his tie- it says 'Ho Ho Ho' all over it. Do you think he'll still let me dress him like this in 10 years??

A New Style

So, Mikey did this:

(Ms. Terri at the salon said that she sees the most damage to hair done with safety scissors- which is what Mikey had!)

SO I DID THIS:

STEPS!! Remember 1985?! Just like Daddy used to have.

And then as punishment for cutting his own hair, Ms. Terri had him clean up the salon (love her!!). We NEVER cut our own hair, right Mikey? 'No- only Mommy's and Daddy's!!'

Please don't tell him that I'm kind of glad he did it, because I LOVE his new haircut!! :)
