More Carowinds fun

This summer:

Summah in Boston

We drove to Boston to spend a week with family. It was amazing and so much fun. The kids absolutely LOVE spending time with everyone. Katie got to have Mimi's spaghetti and meatballs (she's been waiting and talking about them for months), Mikey got to ride with Papi on his tractor around the yard. They played in his pool almost every day. We played with Kelsie and Katie fell in love all over again with baby Mikayla (she even shared her white blanket and 'woodoo'!!). We went to the Cape to play and stay with Ryan and Johnny. We played in the ocean and built sand castles and had sleepovers with the boys. 

It was amazing fun! 

Yay!!!

I finally found a way to access my pictures to put on the blog!! I've been struggling with this for a few months now since I've had an issue with our home computer. No matter! We're here now. 

So, quite a bit of catching up to do. We've had an unbelievable summer since school got out for the kiddos. We got to visit Mimi and Papi (and everyone else!) in Boston. We've spent a lot of time at the local amusement park- Carowinds- the kids are in love!! We've started gymnastics for both Katie and Mikey and are also continuing our swim lessons. We've spent almost every day at Pat and Joes pool (sometimes several times a day!!). 

We've packed so much fun in this summer and don't want it to end. The kids are growing so fast and are so big. Mikey is really turning into such a big boy (minus the thumb sucking....we're working so hard on that). He loves trains, trucks and action figures (Spider-Man, Iron Man and Ninja Turtles at the top of the list). He loves doing 'big jumps' in the pool and riding his bike. Most if all he loves his sister, which is the best. 

Katie is 4 going on 16. She LOVES roller coasters (amazing), and water slides. She is doing fantastic at swim (level 4B now) and gymnastics. I love that she puts her mind to something and gives it her all. I guess that's part of her stubborn streak (the other part is NOT cute!!). She is the best at coloring. She works so hard at her art and it's amazing. She is a fabulous big sister (second mother) to Mikey and loves him so much. 

These two are my absolute heart.
