This weekend we went to the Strawberry Festival (a big event here in our town-- they even have a pageant with a Strawberry Queen...ah, someday Kaitlyn!!) It really was a lot of fun, but I think Kaitlyn's favorite part was the shuttle bus ride we took to and from the high school parking lot to the festival park (we sang 'wheels on the bus' the whole time)! Mikey's favorite part was the petting zoo where they saw a pony, cow, bunny, chicks and a goat. Mikey and Kaitlyn had tons of junk food, danced with bubbles, Kaitlyn got a princess tattoo (that has lasted a week so far...yuck) and rode a bug train ride ALL BY HERSELF!!! Love Family Fun Days like this!
